Day DeLaHunt and his wife, Heather Campbell, have owned and operated Split Mountain Farm, Inc. since its inception in 1989, beginning as a small wholesale company specializing in perennials and herbs.

Our first greenhouse was built in 1989, and we added a new greenhouse every year for several years. Popular demand led to construction of the garden center in 1999, and we opened at the new location on Highway 40 in May, 2000.

For a number of years, the mail-order company "High Country Roses" was part of the business and we grew hardy roses and shipped them in containers throughout the United States. In 2011, that business was transferred to Heather's brother, Matt, and continues to thrive in Denver. We still carry a great selection of roses here at the garden center in Jensen.

Split Mountain Garden Center is a division of Split Mountain Farm, Inc. in Jensen, Utah.

Day, hard at work in the greenhouse.

We're members of Master Nursery Garden Centers,

a group of independent garden centers with 700 members throughout the country.
